Toke my van there to be serviced

I toke my 1997 plymouth grand voyager to Steve Eckman to be serviced wrote him a check on Friday to repair my vehicle... When I sent my fiance to curchoes to see how they was making out repairing it Steve then told my fiance it was not there... Never even called us to notify us the vehicle was missing... I then contacted the police filed a report with them they told me to go the next morning to get the key. When I we... view morent to Curchoes to get my key and my check I had wrote him to repair it he told me he had cashed the check and he was not giving me my key until the cops told him to. I asked him for his insurance info he refused to give it to me as well as my insurance agent. I went to Police sation to beg for help and they refused to assist me in getin this information. Steve still says he did not wrong has all but accused me of stealing my own vehicle. SO WORD OF ADVISE I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANYTHING TO THIS GARAGE IF YOU WANT IT BACK. Not to mention the things he has said about me like it is all my fault when in reality all I did was pay him to fix my van trusted im with my vehicle, he never even so much as said sorry. Never heard of anything like this before.......
