Before buying anything from this dealership, I had checked prices on the internet and got a competitive quote. We did not trade anything in on the purchase, as I`m older and smarter than I used to be, and they will rip you a good one on trades. We agreed on a price which was about 2,000 more than what I`d been quoted for earlier. Nissan Altima, and the car was not actually equipped the same, as I also wanted ... view morethe sport package. (But was told "That`s just some bigger wheels and stuff...you don`t really want it, child). The only reasons I didn`t walk was that 1. we had an immediate need for a second car, and 2. there were some dealer incentives involved in it, which also did drop the price some, and 3. to their credit, got me a better interest rate than what I was willing to go with initially. After my Wife gleefully "rang the bell" we went back and had to just about fight off the "Back Room Sales Manager" who tried to force us to add other items onto the purchase price of the car at highly inflated prices. There were some highly suspicious numbers involved there..they wanted to charge us well over 2K for a "extended warranty", and I wouldn`t take it because I later on got one through the credit union for about 1K. So they did tack on a "5 year oil change and fluid replacement plan", but this didn`t cost any more. So where did that extra money come from? After talking with this guy for a while, I feel that my bell was rung. The dealer has a good selection, I must say, and the service department seems to be well equipped, but their open hours aren`t exactly conducive to being handy to a working person. They also told me that for oil changes that they would actually come to my place of work and pick the car up and bring it back for me! When I asked about this, I was asked..."HUH??". Also look at what another rater says about them and the agreement with the Attorney Gneral. I wouldn`t buy a bicycle from these guys again.

The commercial with the young lady who claims to have boughten eight cars with her husband at Salem Nissan. ITS NOT BOUGHTEN! THAT IS NOT A WORD! I talked to one of the salesman over the phone and he was not commendating at all. I`d asked for a price quote over the phone to get a general idea what a 2003 Altima S is going for. I wanted to know how much above the invoice price they are willing to sell me this car. He arrogantly told me he wanted to make $5000 profit on each car if he could. What kind of dealership would talk to their potential customers like this. This wasn`t an isolated case, I either. I called the previous day and got a slack-jawed response from a different salesman. Sure I recommend this ""car dealership"" if you want to overpay and don`t mind receiving rude customer service.
