Reviews:

jeff and the crew at my daddy`s are crooks you should really take head to the 1 stars if your not car savvy and depend on these guys to repair your car they will tell you things are wrong and need to be replaced when they are not also jeff claims to have much experience but cant even diagnose simple problems with a car that I myself went on internet and figured out and fixed my car for free! im talking easy fixes li... view moreke bad battery or alternator etc. to jeff its always so much drama like its a bad engine or car is toast and his whole crew of fairy`s will even act with him to try and get you to believe you need to pay him lots of money to fix your car when in reality it was a simple fix. this is exactly what happened to me I went in there after few months for bad part they installed to get it replaced with there so called 1 year warranty he did not honor his warranty even after 5 months he blamed my car is the cause of these parts going bad..... lol so I asked him why didn`t you fix it when I brought it to u the first time instead of putting the part in, he had no answer just a dumb look on his face then his evil little helper from garage comes running all in shambles telling jeff that my whole engine needs to be replaced I just couldn`t believe how they were lying and keeping straight face.... I told them I will have it checked somewhere else so I did all 4 reputable places Firestone, Just Rite auto, Gaynors, Nissan, they all said the same thing your car is running great you just have a bad part in it that my daddys needs to warranty specially when it is obvious they put the wrong part in! they also said its sad that they are doing this to you it gives us mechanics a bad name it would cost him only labor to fix this deal which you payed him to do rite the first time! so rite they are I went back to my daddys looked at jeff and at this point I cant tell you how bad I wanted to knock this old grandpa out and his little helpers in the back but we have laws lol. gave him the paperwork and he was annoyed saying everybody is wrong and he not gonna help me yelling and being rude! I left. got my car repaired at Nissan it runs beautifully just again proof that all they said at my daddys was a load of dog ----! well instead of just complaining about it on forums and bbb I got a lawyer. lol he didn`t believe me when I said I would get one I also bought the cores of my old wrong parts they put in! so when comes time to take this gramps to court I can prove his crookedness. Do your self a favor don`t let mechanics these guys especially rip you off anymore and when it happens take it to claims court let them know they cant screw with people with hard fines and tainted reviews! im working on this case with my lawyer and will keep posting news after case. if you would like to picket this crooks lot I will be there bright and early! also I know lawyers that work for very cheap if you were wronged by these people file a claim! Again do not go here for work they will try to rip u off! I wish I could giv it a 0 or neg rating

I have been going to this shop...
I have been going to this shop for over 10 years and have nothing but the upmost respect for the business and owners. They have been honest and given me great customer service each and every time I have gone in. I have recommended them to both friends and family. If you are looking for an honest repair shop, look no further. I normally do not post reviews but felt compelled to do so for this business.

Outstanding!
I was referred to My Daddy`s a few years ago by some friends that have been customers of theirs for years. I`ve gone there on a few occasions and only received exceptional work. Their prices are reasonable and they are very customer service oriented. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

This shop is fantastic! I have been going to them for years. Before them I jumped around from different shops, but now I will never change. They truly care about me and my car and keeping me on the road. They have a new program that allows me to make a monthly payment and have all my maintanance and repair covered at 100%, I have saved $100`s already, you can`t go wrong with these guys.

Total ripoff! Overpriced parts and
Total ripoff! Overpriced parts and completely lied to me about the issues with my vehicle. I`m so glad I had a funny feeling and took it in for a second opinion somewhere else. Parts where half the price, sometimes even more then half. my ""Severe"" oil leak, wasn`t even an oil leak. TOTAL CRAP COMPANY....DO NOT TRUST!

What a Frickin Joke!! Do not, I repeat
What a Frickin Joke!! Do not, I repeat DO NOT trust these people!!!!! They go door to door selling cupons for 6 oil changes for 50 bucks. That should tell you right there that it`s a scam. They get you coming in for your virtually free oil changes and then when you have to take your car in for some actual work is when they go to work on you. I took my car in because it was sputtering. They did a diagnostic chec... view morek and told me I needed new spark plugs. My car was the first one in at 9am the next day. It was over 4 hours later they called me and said that the plugs were done (which they were gonna charge $250 for by the way), but then they told me that my catalic converter was shot. HUH? Why didnt they say that when they did the diagnostic check the day before. I went and picked up my car and the sputtering was gone but I had a whole new issue that wasn`t there before I brought it in!! WTF!!! This is your fair warning, these people are crooks!!!!

This company seemed to find a "new" problem every time I have taken my vehicle to them. A project that was supposed to cost about $250 is now running close to $1,000 because of this companies poor work and lack of attention to detail. The first time I came to them I had them do an install that was not an easy because there were some complications from prior work/damage on the car. They did this in less ... view moretime than they had estimated so I was ultimately please. This is why I gave them 5 chances. This last experience was the worst. I wanted something fixed because I was told by a separate professional electrician that they installed the wiring incorrectly. When I approached the company to re-wire their work, I quote Jeff (owner of the company) as saying "they don`t know sh*t about what they are talking about." This was in the lobby of their shop with other customers present. He is one of the most unprofessional business owners I have ever come across. You have a lot of options when getting your car fixed. I strongly suggest using a competitor. I am not sure the degree of intention on their part, but it seem to get worse the more I put my trust in their reports of what was wrong with my vehicle. However, the worst part of it all was simply the way I was treated. I wasn`t looking for a lot and the owner was quick to get nasty with me when I was unpleased with their work. They may know how to do good work, but it does not seem like a priority. Good luck if you don`t know a lot about cars; your taking a crap shoot with My Daddy`s Automotive in Hazel Dell, WA.

Lousy work. Had right rear axle shaft seal replaced. Later found out the work was not done properly. Had to have it redone and fluid had leaked onto brake shoes, so had to replace those too. `My Daddy`s` refused to adjust any of the charges. Very dissapointing.

Best Place in Town
After moving to Vancouver I tried out a few car shops with mixed result until a friend referred me to My Daddy`s. That place is by far the most trustworthy I`ve been to. the three times I have had work on my car done the final bill was cheaper than the price I got quoted on the phone because ""the part ended up being not as expensive"", ""labor went faster than expected"", or ""we ended up just charging for the part"... view more". Seriously??? Can`t argue with that, especially seeing that their prices are competitive to start with. Gotta love family owned businesseswho care about their customers.
