Not a good experience

I was told the problem with my car was that the starter had failed. They also told me I needed a new battery even though I had tested it and it was fine and holding a charge. They put the battery in anyway and fixed the starter and the bill came in $50 higher than quoted. They drove the car home for me (got it started) and I went out the next day to start it and it had the same exact problem. When I called they said ... view more""oh - forgot to tell you - the mechanic said the carburetor is leaking."" Took it to another place - they said no way the original problem was the starter and that the carburetor was fine - it needed a new fuel pump. It runs fine now. What a joke.
