If you choose this location please beware. My vehicle had O/D light flashing problem. I assumed this was due to a transmission problem and took it in for their free diagnosis. Two days later I noticed my vehicle was parked in the exact same way I left it. When I went in to ask the manager about the diagnosis, he told me the transmission would need to be rebuilt. The base cost was $2400 and that additional parts ... view morewould need to be replaced when they got inside it.
I questioned him about what codes they received when they performed the scan on it. He said there weren`t any but took me in their shop to show me a transmission and all the things that go wrong them. He showed me all the parts that ->probably<- were going to need to be replaced to fix the problem. I got a bad feeling about the lack of specifics he provided about my the problem codes so I ended up taking it to another place on the south side.
The second shop charged $80 to check out the transmission and asked for some additional time to check the electronics. They found a wire that had come loose and was the cause of the problem. The total repair was about $80.
If you decide to go to this Aamco in NW OKC ask lots of questions and don`t hesitate to get a second opinion. It took me a couple more days without my car but we saved around $3000 by not choosing Aamco and I feel bad for anyone who told them to go ahead and rebuild their transmission when it didn`t need it.

DO NOT GO TO AAMCO!!!!! I took my car last week to have the free diagnostic ran. I was having issues with my RPM`s going up/down while driving. I called Pep Boys on NW Expwy and was referred to AAMCO. After the free diagnostic at AAMCO I am told I have TPS code and that my transmission is going to go out any day now and my car is not safe to drive b/c I am risking breaking down and being stranded (I have 52k mile... view mores). I ask cost to repair and am told they can`t say but at least $1,800 and no more than $2,500 depending on what work will need to be done. I am then told they will "take care of me" financially and I can sign up for their 60 day interest free plan and just sign over checks to them to cash on days I approve and pay 10% down...just need to sign their authorization to begin repair. I decide to go for a 2nd opinion to family owned transmission shop in my hometown (Yukon) and speak with the owner, he says to bring in for free diagnostic and leave with him for a few hours. I just got a call from him telling me they got the same TPS code, they cleared the code, re set my computer and have had 3 diff people drive my car on lengthy trips to confirm the RPM`s are functioning properly and there is nothing wrong with my transmission. COST? Free!!!
I am told what AAMCO did to me was a sales pitch and I`m certain he was using a tactic to scare me to leave my car with him by telling me if I keep driving it, I will be stranded on the road somewhere.
I have to give AAMCO 1 star b/c I don`t have the option to give NONE!!!!!
