Bad service

My wife was told to take our S10 pickup to B and L muffler to have them refix the exhaust. They told her nothing was wrong.

Bill has been a life savor for my family, He has been able to fix the major problems with all my vehicles at a third the cost of a dealership. It`s a shame we are loosing such great people to dealer only repairs

Ripoff, especially if you are a woman.

This is apparently one of those mechanics that will rip you off if you are a woman. They are also clearly incompetent. I had my wife take her car there to get the exhaust line fixed and muffler replaced. I would have done the work myself, but I don`t have time, being in medical school. The exhaust line was hanging too low, and the muffler needed replaced badly. They charged my wife $40 and led her to believe they had... view more done the necessary work. All they had done was rehang the exhaust line. I told my wife to take it back and insist on proper service. They told my wife the muffler was fine. It clearly wasn`t, as there were obvious large cracks and holes in it and it was loud when running. My wife insisted they look closer. On closer inspection, they agreed that it clearly needed replaced. The job they had done previously had become unfixed within a week`s time. They fixed that again and replaced the muffler for $80. It took a total of $120 and several hours for them to do a $60 job that should take a muffler shop less than an hour. We won`t be going back, except to demand restitution.

WELL WORTH THE DIFFERANCE

BILL REPLACED AN EXHAUST ON MY NEW TRUCK THAT HAD LEAKED, RATTLED,BROKEN HANGERS,AND HAD BEEN UNEAVEN AT THE TAIL PIPE TIPS SINCE THE DAY I GOT IT. THE SYSTEM WAS NOT BUT A YEAR OLD WEN I WAS TOLD ""I DROVE ON TOO ROUGH A ROAD""..AND THEY WOULD NO LONGER WARRANTY THE WORK.
