Notice! New owners - not like it used to be.

Midwest Muffler used to be a small place that I could take my car to for reasonable priced quality work. There are new owners in charge, and I am displeased with their work and the prices have gone through the roof. I was quoted $75 for a job by the previous owner. The new owner quoted $85 and the bill came in at $95 and now I`ve got to get the work redone.

**Update** I took the car back and expressed my ... view moredispleasure with the quality of the work performed. They fixed the issue that had not been addressed initally. One of the felllows tried to tell me that they were trying to save me $ by performing the repair as they had initially; the second fellow appologized for not taking care of it correctly the first time. They were both concerned with my satisfaction (they have that going for them, at least). I questioned their choice of replacement part and they assured me that the part was suitable (I`m not sure that I`m completey convinced, especially considering the $50 they charged me for a $20 part, and closer-to-original replacement runs $30).
