M & M offers no warranty on parts

I had a muffler and catalytic converter replaced on a 1993 Buick Park Avenue in August of 2008. By December of 2008 parts of the inside of the converter were rattling around in the muffler. Mike at M & M informed me that they offered no warranty of any kind on either the muffler or converter. I phoned Midas and was told that I could get a lifetime warranty on a muffler and a 20,000 mile exterior and 40,000 mile in... view moreterior warranty on the converter. The price quoted was similar to M & M. I should have gone to Midas in the first place. I would have saved hundreds of dollars. Perhaps I should have asked M & M in the first place, but they were recommended by a local.
