Rip Off

I took my vehicle up to be inspected because of a really bad sway and very dangerous to drive. They tried to charge me for the tow fee, and also did charge me for an alignment. They stated that it was done, and that 3 people test drove my vehicle. It still did it when I left, I thought maybe tires, so I bought tires. I called them to say it was still doing it and they stated I needed a second opinion. I paid for... view more the second opinion and guess what. My SUV was so out of alignment that it was quoted as ""unsafe to drive"" and Carters refused to refund the money that I paid and I had to get it aligned at another shop. I have 2 statements from mechanics that are actually good, that show that the alignment was not done or very poorly done. I do not recommend going to Carters Towing EVER, they do not do a good job. Also, they put in a motor and left a pretty bad oil leak, that should have been caught before they gave us the keys back.
