Beaware of Midas ....

Be-aware of Midas , had a terrible bad experience. All they know is replacing catalytic converter , Oxygen sensors . The problem I had was Rattling noise .I was told that my car was really in bad condition and it needs Catalytic Converter replacement immediately else car would blow out .They wanted to rob $1200 instantly by threatening that , I am aware of driving car in unsafe condition. The charge for this diagnosi... view mores is around $30 .I always wanted a second opinion and hence declined for replacement. Taken my car to Honda Dealer and was told that rattling noise is because of rusted heat shield . It can be either clamped or removed and nothing wrong with the Catalytic Converter . I opted for removal and Honda charged $25 for the diagnosis as well as removal.The charge would have been the same if I had opted for clamping the heat shield . Please be aware of fraud and robbery by Midas and never ever trust them.
