Not really sure why user clevelanddesis had such a negative experience with these guys. I`ve been taking all our Toyotas to them for over 7 years and never been shafted. Not saying they are the least expensive in the area but after experiencing the service departments in two different Toyota dealerships and having been unimpressed with their lack of professionalism with regard to their honest appraisals, or lack ther... view moree of, I would have to conclude (unemotionally) that Alternative Solutions tells it like it is. In fact, they have told my family twice in the last year to stop putting money into two different cars and look for another car because they didn`t want to see us waste money paying for ""their fishing trips"" as Tom says. Now that`s blunt honesty if I`ve ever heard it. Most shops would keep raking you over the coals gladly taking your money without offering true solutions or alternatives, hence the name. How`s that for logical unemotional analysis?

Great, honest service

I love this place! They are nice, quick and they give you honest appraisals. I know because my brother is a mechanic and their assessment always matches what he tells me. Highly recommended.

I drive 60 miles to use this business

I have used the services of this business for many years. They have been consistently reputable in all matters and charge a fair price for their work. I completely trust them which I rarely or never do with auto repair businesses. They consistently save me money with their recommendations. I have used dealer`s and other private shops from time to time and I have been disappointed on those occasions when I compare th... view moree work to Alternative Solutions. I drive over 60 miles one way to use their services on my 3 Toyotas and I buy Toyotas because that`s one of the makes they work on. If you are extremely picky or have unreasonable expectations they may not be for you but everyone else should find this business a breath of fresh air in auto repair. I am almost 60 and have extensive experience on the receiving end of poor auto repair service. Alternative Solutions has put an end to that.

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Alternative Solutions for over a decade. They provide absolutely the best automotive repair service I`ve ever experienced, and I`m old enough to have been around that block many many times. Trustworthy Mechanics

This business has very knowledgeable staff; they knew about servicing Priuses very early - before the cars were available at every Toyota dealership. They make real efforts to keep costs low, and recommend a range of alternatives for most repairs. Their time estimates are pretty reliable, as well as their cost estimates. They know their repeat customers well.

Can`t get any better than this!

These people are so honest! Because of them I would only drive Toyotas or Hondas because that`s all they fix. Been going to them since the early 1990s and have never been taken advantage of. My mother, mother-in-law and wife agree: These guys do not take advantage of women customers.

This business charged me more than a $100 for labor for a repair issue that is estimated to take not more than 10 minutes. Tom Weeks informed that they charge whatever the book specifies they can charge irrespective of how much actual time it takes to complete a repair task.
