I don`t normally write reviews, in fact this is my first one here at Citysearch, but my experience at the Hillsboro Master Muffler & Brakes renews my faith in the auto repair industry.

I recently had my brakes checked at the Les Schwab here in Hillsboro, they basically said I needed everything, so I called around and got some prices. Luckily I was in having my exhaust repaired at Master Muffler the very next ... view moreday. I noticed they had a brake rack, and were also repairing brakes on a large service truck. I told him about my quote for brake work from Les Schwab, and he let me know that MM does free brake inspections, and he would be glad to verify the repairs needed and give me a quote after he completed my exhaust repairs.

To make a long story short (too late) he checked all the brakes out, and give me an estimate that was half of what Les Schwab`s was. He took the time to show me, while he was inspecting the brakes, and measuring parts, exactly what he was charging me for. I had the brakes repaired by Master Muffler that Saturday and couldn`t be happier. The estimated price was the price I was charged, no add on charges.

It`s now a year later, and I am still happy with my purchases there!
