I called about an escalade I saw on autotrader. Talked to Tony the salesman who said he could hold it for me for $250 deposit until I got a chance to come look at it in person. Went to look at it, agreed on a price with Tony and shook on it. Next thing I knew he said that his boss was on the phone and wanted to talk to me. His boss basically said he couldn`t do the deal for what Tony said and that I was going to p... view moreay this x amount for it. I told him that I couldn`t do it for that price, then he proceded to yell at me and tell me that I wasn`t going to get my deposit back. When asked about the deal that was already agreed upon he said that "he`s the boss" and that Tony didn`t have the authority to do this. So you have a car salesman that doesn`t have the authority to sell cars!?!? After leaving I called to talk to a manager about the incident. It was obvious that the manager was already filled in on the situation, and was combative and stand-offish right from the start. I`ve encountered more professionalism at Wal-Mart!!!!
