I bought an older model red sedan from this lot over three months ago. All it needed was an oil change and a stabiliser pin. So far, I am highly satisfied with the price and subsequent reliability of this car. Good buy. But in that showroom, I too encountered salesmen with a variety of attitudes and manner. I was very fortunate to get one of the better ones to deal with.

Poor Business Practice

I recently spoke with an individual at this establishment who had sent me a letter regarding restoration of credit and assistance in getting an automobile. I went into the dealership and made an application. I was assured that he would get back to me later that day and with an approval for an auto. Well that was one month later and after numerous phone calls to Mr. Johnson, I have yet to receive that call back. I... view more hate to think of it as being race related, but I am african american and the area I placed my application is a highly caucasian and it is a known factor that very few african americans frequent that area. Or they just have poor customer service practice. Yet if that was the issue, then they would not be selling very many cars. I definitely took offense because Mr. Johnson`s promises of returned calls never materialized. I wrote a letter to the President of the company, Mr. Joel Evans and never received a reply from him either. Whats going on National Car Mart?
