My car had broke down, so I had it towed to a family mechanic. A few days passed and I had not heard anything back so I called a few times to inquire about my car. He was not in or unavailable most of the time and apparently he is the only person to speak to. So after I did get in contact with him, he informed me that the timing belt had went out. He gave me the price which was fairly reasonable (to reasonable), so I... view more told him to go ahead and do the work. He later called me and informed me that I had a terrible oil leak and that he would only charge me $80 to fix it, which was also reasonable. I also gave him the go ahead to change the oil since he was messing with it already, $30 which was kind of costly but whatever. Well I get my car back 1 day later than he promised, I paid him in cash, and not two weeks later a rod throws in my engine. The work was paid for on 3/14/2010 and threw the rod on 3/30/2010. Almost two weeks. Then when I called him he said it was my responsibility to check the oil! Now I am without a car! I have every intention on suing him if he does not refund my money or take responsibility for the damage. I would never suggest this company to anyone! BEWARE OF SWINDLE WENDEL
