I find that it is incredibly, incredibly rare to have an excellent customer service experience these days. BUT, I can honestly say that is what we continue to experience at Brakes Plus. We`ve been taking our cars there for a couple of years now, and we have had nothing but an amazing customer service experience. Even when we had an item of concern, they maintained their professionalism and candid honesty at all times. I work as a marketing consultant serving businesses of all sizes, and I have to say that the customer service I have experienced at Brakes Plus has been absolutely stellar and one of the best places I have ever been a patron of. I have nothing but positive things to say and I recommend them without any hesitation. If you`re considering using them for your car care, do it. They may be busy, but there`s a reason for that. You`re going to get customer service that goes the extra mile and I think you`ll be wow`d just like I was.

This is the ONLY place to bring your car/truck in my opinion. They are HONEST, UP FRONT, & do not recommend OR fix any more than what is necessary at the time - unless YOU WANT to go beyond. The rest is ""CUSTOMER EDUCATION"" & YOU make the call. YOU are given the info to help budget your repairs on a timeframe which makes sense. Friendly Staff - very accommodating. I was in the area and realized my wife`s care was way past due for an oil change. Stopped by to see if they could fit me in. They got everything done in no time! Good service, reasonable price... just a little more pricey the last place I went. I would go back.

Based on several positive reviews for Brakes Plus I decided to take my car in because the brakes were squeling. They spent about 30 minutes inspecting the brakes and then Glen (owner) came back to say the brakes were only about 60% worn and I could expect another 10K miles on them before getting them repaired. They also fixed an unrelated issue with the tire wheel cover while inspecting the brakes. I know there are many repair places that would have told me the brakes needed repairing and would have been very happy to charge me. So it is nice to know that Brakes Plus is NOT one of those places. I was very impressed with the service and honesty of Brakes Plus!!!

When I do need the brakes repaired this will be the place!!!

I have been using Brakes Plus to service my Honda Van (166,000 miles) and my Subaru (75,000 miles) for about a year. Glenn and Tim are by far the most knowledgeable and professional technicians I have ever had service my vehicles. Glenn always explains what service is needed, how much it will cost, and any options that may be available. He takes the time to answer any questions, and I have never felt any pressure... view more to do more work than I was comfortable with. I have been to Brakes Plus for minor routine service, and some major repairs. Each time the work was performed professionally and correctly. This is not your typical repair shop. These guys care about doing the job right, and making the customer happy. I have recommended Brakes Plus to a friend, and he was completely satisfied with the service he received from Glenn and Tim. I will continue to use Brakes Plus and I will continue to recommend them to others.

Breaks Plus is a great place to have your automotive work done! I`ve lived in the triangle for more than 15 years and I always wanted to find a shop that made me feel like I was not being taken advantage of nor cheated. I have finally found it. As a recent example, I had purchased a set of tires from a local big wholesale club. When I went back to have the tires rotated and balanced, I was told my brakes needed replacing immediately. I decided to ask Glen what he thought. Glen looked at the brakes and told me that I still had 10,000 mile before they would need repair. I`m not afraid to send my son and wife with any car problems knowing he will be completely truthful about possible repairs. Its this kind of honest and competent service that keeps me coming back. I almost hesitate to write a great review - after all, this place is always packed because they have a great reputation for doing good work, and a good review will only make the waits longer... This is one of those mechanics that you always hope to find. I have been back several times. One time I had a really tricky problem with my Subaru that they couldn`t diagnose, and they actually sent me to another mechan... view moreic who they knew was a better troubleshooter for my particular problem. And they even didn`t charge me! They made a lifelong customer out of me. The only negative is that they are always busy, and sometimes you have to wait a while to get work done, even if you have an appointment.

These are good people who seem to know their stuff and care about getting it right. The only problem: it`s a small staff and a small shop and getting your vehicle in and out in a timely manner is far from guaranteed.
