Davis Garage was started by A. Eugene Davis in 1939 in a small garage in downtown Winston Salem, NC.? A.E. Davis was a? founding member of the Independent? Garage Owners of North Carolina.? He was also the inventor of one of the first tow trucks in the United States.? We have the distinction of being the? 73rd? oldest? established towing company in the country? and have been entered in the? Towman 50 Most Experienced? Towers in the United States.? ? Harvey Davis, the second generation and current leader, is a founding member of the Towing and Recovery Professionals of North Carolina.? He is also a long time member of the Towing and Recovery Association of America.?
