Hey, I think what you are running into is it is against the law to do what you wanted them to do. If you find a shop that will do it they can be fined by the Federal Government for $5,000. A law has passed in Congress this year where the shops that are doing this with catalytic converters are going to be hit hard and fined and owners of vehicles can get in trouble. WTF

I have been a customer off and on for 15 yrs. since the new owners have taken over . It is almost impossiable to get any work done on anything I own. For example I have an 85 Silverado With a 350 out of a 79 Firebird in it.Not the original motor grant you. but hell they won`t even connect a exaust pipe for me. this motor was not made for a Cat.and neither were the exaust pipes. I really do not want to take my business else where. But it looks like that is what I am going to have to do.I do give cuddo`s to Mike he is the best one they have working for them.
