Will NEVER go back!!
They messed up my oil change not once, but TWICE! They didn`t put the cap on correctly the first time. After redoing my oil change, I thought everything was good. Until my one year old vehicle completely turned off and the steering wheel locked while I was driving down I-95, with my 6 month old baby!!!! When I called upset, they acted like it was no big deal and could care less. It`s not worth the cheaper oil change!... view more!!!!!

I took my vehicle to the location on Raeford Rd shortly before 8am on a Friday morning. My check engine light was on and I needed a new battery, so a worker at the desk named Robert said they would do a diagnostic test. This was fine by me. I made the mistake of dropping my car off and leaving and assumed I would get a call within an hour or two. I called at 1pm and was told by Robert that no one had even looked at m... view morey car yet. I drove by at 3pm and my car was still sitting where I parked it (yes 8 hrs later). I called about a half hour before closing since no one called like Robert said they would and was told someone had just pulled it back but they weren`t finished with the diag. Robert said it could take between an hour and 6 days to perform a test. (Total bs by the way on the 6 days comment). Saturday rolls around with still no phone call so I went up there unannounced to pick up my car 10 mins before closing and finally someone else was able to give me the details of the diagnostic test. In case you missed it, this location was in possession of my car for 2 full business days and failed to call me to let me know the status of my car. Had I left it there, the earliest I would have been notified of anything would have been Monday, then they would still have to perform the repairs! They completely wasted my time. I can understand if the shop was busy, just let the customer know there is a prolonged wait. I can`t reward a business with my money if they fail to even make an attempt to look at my vehicle and then hold it hostage for 2 days. This is completely unacceptable.

We needed our car looked over ...
We needed our car looked over for an emergency trip up North. I called and they got us in the same day. They were friendly, honest, and very reasonably priced. If you are new to the area Harrell`s is a great place. We tried a place on Yadkin first that was going to make us wait 2 hours just to get the car in to be looked at in the first place. The other two ratings should be disregarded.

TPMS
My TPMS worked fine before having a set of new tires installed at Harrell`s. 2 hours after having the tires installed my TPMS light went off and went back. Basically they stated they did not do anything wrong and we would have to go the dealer. After a couple of days of going back and forth with Harrell`s the issue was resolved because atleast one my sensors were damaged and they had replaced it but could not rese... view moret the computer. We went to dealer and the one sensor fixed and then the next day the TPMS light went off again, we will eventually go to the dealer to have all of them fixed. Bottom line: The TPMS worked fine before going in and after coming out it does not work..............IF YOU (Harrells) DO NOT KNOW HOW TO WORK ON CARS, THEN STOP!

Money-Grubbing Swindlers
I went to Harrells because the AC had stopped working and asked to have it checked. He called back and told us that the entire air compression system was messed up and needed to be replaced because there was a crack somewhere in it. He quoted us around $1600 to get it done. We took the car somewhere else (Firestone on Ramsey St) to get a second opinion, and they said the only thing that needed to be done was to reloa... view mored the freon and change the air filter. Cost? $177 (taxes included). Shame on Harrells for trying to take advantage of someone at a time when everyone is struggling with gas prices!! Do not go there unless you want a 1000% mark-up.
