Fantastic family owned business

Absolutely great family owned and operated business. Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They did a warranty repair for me on a 2001 Suburban that was originally repaired in Georgia. They did a fantastic job. Not only have I found a great transmission shop, but I feel I have made some great new friends for the future. Quite Satisfied

Mr Ted has done multiple repairs for me:
1.) 99 Intrepid - total tranny rebuild in a timely turn-around for a fair price - eventually drove the car to TX and turned it over to a nephew - several yrs later, had no subsequent problems whatsoever
2.) 86 Ranger - replaced warped seal which had been causing oil leakage- fair price and good trun around time - years later this truck is still running at the ranch i... view moren south TX
3.) 98 Taurus - replaced computer component that had caused car to spill the tranny fluid - this impressed me because the bill was very reasonable for the quick anlysis and the quick repair in light of an up-coming trip to TX - very good repair for much less cost that I had prepared for - my nephew in TX drove the car for many years until the engine blew after at least another hundred thousand miles
4.) 03 Taurus - this car had a shake that no one had been able to identify the cause - after new tires and alignments and such, I took it to Mr Ted who figured out that the CV joints needed replacing - for a good analysis, a good job, and a fair bill, we were happy campers!

Ted is not dishonest.

I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO TED FOR MANY MANY YEARS AND WOULD NOT TAKE IT CAR TO ANY ONE ELSE. HE IS A VERY GOOD AND HONEST MAN. I RECOMMEND HIM TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND THEY HAVE BEEN SATISFIED. I HAVE LEARNED THAT YOU CAN`T PLEASE EVERYONE, BUT TED GIVES IT HIS VERY BEST.

Ted is a dishonest

Ted will drive his customers cars for his personal use and take them home and put extra miles up on them.
I picked up my vehicle today and noticed 90 miles had been put on the car. when I confronted Ted he said that he had to drive it to make it leak. it was leaking regardless of driven or not. then he proceeded to tell me that he had to drive it home 2 nights. doesn`t make any sense to why he would have to ... view moredo that. When I called on Tuesday he said to bring it in on Wed. and it would be next in line but may not get to it until Friday. well when I picked it up and noticed the mileage I also found a food receipt on the console that was dated for Wed. 15th at 6:55pm. now why would he need to take my car to get food in Knightdale???? this man is a dishonest and I will never take my cars there and would advise everyone else not to. I`m sure he does this all the time and it`s not right!!
