My sister and I go in and tell the salesman what we are looking for and that she has a check from the bank and wants to purchase a car that day because she is going out of town in two days. He shows us a car and she likes it but there are some things wrong with it so we offer less than the window price and he responds by saying he will not take anything less than the asking price. We leave because my husband who is i... view moren the business tells us that the car was definitely not worth the asking price. Since when did dealerships stop negotiating used car prices and marking the cars up so much that it is obvious the car is overpriced? We drove to the next city and found four of the same cars with less mileage for $3000.00 less, I guess dealerships are doing so well they don?ˆ™t really need the business of someone who has a check in her hand.
