Inexperienced and Unprofessional. Stay AWAY!
I had noticed a weird issue with my driver side tire Thursday after work and called immediately to make an appointment for Friday at 1pm. First of all, you might as well skip the appointment process; they didn?ˆ™t take my care in for almost 45mins after I arrived at my scheduled `appointment` time. The ditsy receptionist asked me if I would be waiting for my car, I said yes and went to sit in the waiting area. 2 HO... view moreURS passed and nobody said anything to us about the diagnosis. When my boyfriend went up to ask her what the issue was, she disappeared into the back to `check on the work order`. Joe came out and was able to locate the work order. It had been sitting on the front counter for almost 2 hours and everyone just walked around it. My boyfriend was so livid that he just asked for my keys because we were done wasting our time with them. They offered to give us the tire for 1/2 off since they messed up. We agreed, and they `fixed` the issue. We drove out of the parking lot and within 2 minutes I could tell the issue wasn?ˆ™t even fixed. Nothing was different. Since it was December mall traffic was horrendous and it took 45 minutes to get back to that excuse of a business. As soon as we walked in the offered to refund us and said we could keep the tire (gee thanks). I would have taken it somewhere else as soon as they messed up the first time but I had to leave and drive 200 miles to my parents?ˆ™ house. I walked out of there in tears not knowing if I would be able to make the drive. We did make it home and my father was able to diagnose and fix the issue within 15 minutes. All in all I wasted 3 1/2 hours, missed a very important work function and to date am still out the price of the tire since I haven?ˆ™t been refunded yet. This place should be SHUT DOWN!

Extortion
This business provided the worst experience I have ever had in my life regarding an auto inspection and tires. If this app allowed negative or fewer than one star, that would be my rating. I brought my vehicle in 2 days past the inspection due date. The technician then advised me that one of my tires failed inspection and that I needed to buy 4 new tires for over $600. I told them I had just purchased 2 new tires... view more at a Firestone in Florida within the last 2 years and only wished to buy 2. The manager then told me that it was ""corporate policy"" not to sell fewer than 4 tires and if I did not purchase them they would not allow me to drive the car from the store as it now had no valid inspection sticker. I was willing to have the car towed from the store, but as it was Saturday afternoon, I was not able to locate another auto shop from which to buy the tires and get an inspection that day. Needing my car for work on Monday I felt extorted into buying the tires from Firestone. Very very very shady.

Expensive and shady.
Regarding my experience with their road hazard protection: I bought 4 tires from here years ago with the road hazard protection. One year, a couple of nails got into one of the tires so I took the car to the shop at around 5pm that night. The guy at the counter over dramatically said he couldn`t have anyone take a look as everyone was too busy that night. He was very rude and did not offer to schedule another time. I... view more was surprised by this because when I bought tires from them a technician was willing to install them even though it was 6pm when I got there. I was so unsatisfied with their service, I took the car somewhere else to get the tire fixed. Another time, one of the tires could not be repaired. The road hazard protection covered partial cost of the new tire based on thread wear. This is reasonable. However, note that what isn`t covered is the labor cost of installing the new tire, new rubber valve, new tire balance. That is an additional 21 dollars. On top of that, they tried to slip in the road hazard protection charge without asking, which is an additional 20 dollars. I promptly asked them to remove the protection because it wouldn`t be worth it for me. The guy shook his head telling me how I saved a bunch of money today from having it and that something could happen tomorrow or next week. He was very snide when saying this, kind of made me feel insulted. I didn`t save anything from having it, I barely broke even with the tire replacement and the incidents in the past. I think the guy that tried to make me feel stupid for taking off the road hazard protection is what bothers me the most. He waited for the customers near me to walk away before trying to scare me into keeping the road hazard protection, just so the others would not hear. I was civil enough not to say anything that would cause them to lose business with the other customers, yet the guy does not show me the same respect. Overall, just because this place is corporate, doesn`t make it a safe place to take your car. They will still try to sell you anything, shamelessly I might add. I will never come back here again, I will take my chances somewhere else.

Would not use EVER AGAIN
Never go here They ripped me off for an inspection said I needed new wipers and oil change. My dad takes care of my car and just did my oil and put new wipers on my car so I know they were uneeded. They wipers were grossly over priced and they put worse oil in then what my father had put in. I would never go there for anything they will tack on things that you do not need.

AVOID! POOR SERVICE! BAD BUSINESS OVERALL!
The customers who frequent this shop are either too lazy to find better one or like unknowingly getting ripped off and receiving mediocre service. AVOID! IN SHORT: VERY POOR ETHNICS/INTEGRITY FROM STAFF, SHODDY WORKMANSHIP, EXPENSIVE. and unacceptable work on very SIMPLE work. Do yourself a favor and find another shop. AVOID! NOT TIRE REPAIR PROFESSIONALS -> Conniving salesmen at best. I drove to this shop to h... view moreave a deflating tire repaired. The sales rep, Michael, said it would cost 35$ to repair a flat tire and the wait would be 1 hour. I agreed, but I only wish I had read these reviews and saved myself the trouble of coming here. The truth is the seem like NICE people. They were courteous and polite when they were taking my contact info and swiping my credit card but that`s it. The actual repair was dreadful and absolutely unacceptable. These guys are liars and will take advantage of trusting-passive hardworking people of buffalo. They waited an hour and half to tell a LIE and make it seem legitimate. Daniel Hiebert, one of their technician, told me my tire was UNREPAIRABLE ( blatant lie having checked the tire myself later and going to another shop and having it fixed) and I needed a new tire. How much for a new tire? For a single tire: $210. Not even for a matching Dunlop tire I had but one with "exact tread match." OUTRAGEOUS. I guess they didn`t care about my future business and instead of doing the right thing and plugging the tire for $ 35, they thought they could make a quick dime off a young college student. They preferred to rip me off as a first time customer. So I just asked to put the spare on, and they did for 30$ dollars. When I got my car, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn`t check the tire pressure for the spare they put on. I drove a mile and decided to check it out of curiosity. The tire had a pressure of only 15 PSI. The recommended Psi for my car is 35 PSI. This is a very dangerous not have the correct pressure. Lower pressure means more friction and stress on the tire. The tire could have blown out and become ruined. The standard PSI for car tires is at least 30, so this implies that they didnt even check the pressure. Very ODD FOR A TIRE SHOP. VERY IRRESPONSIBLE TO RELEASE THE CAR TO ME IN THAT FASHION. They made it very clear that they didn`t care about my safety or my continued support of their business. Shame on the technician DANIEL HIEBERT! Michael and the entire staff at FIRESTONE AUTOCARE. DUNN TIRES ON TRANSIT RD. ACTUALLY FIXED MY TIRE INSTEAD OF TRYING TO CHEAT ME. Don`t take a risk at this place. They even cheated the elderly lady before me. They told her there was wear on the side of the tire and recommended a wheel alignment for 30 dollars. Unsurprising she took their word. **If they do such poor work just putting on a spare tire and don`t even bother filling it with air (pathetic 15 PSI). Why risk asking them to fix something you can`t see so easily or test yourself. It`s all about integrity when it comes to any repair shop. FIRESTONE AUTOCARE doesn`t have any. BTW. Their invoices says they aren`t responsible for any items that go missing while your car`s under their care. GREAT policy way to value and comfort your customers. Another reason to avoid.

avoid this place like the plague
I was overcharged for service and they didn`t even complete the service they were supposed to.

I have had this problem 2x and will never return.

They take advantage of women, maybe men too, but definitely women.
