I had inquired about a used 20...

I had inquired about a used 2002 Subaru Outback that was featured online. I notified the "Online Specialist" that I WAS interested and would travel there later that day. I was 100% crystal clear that I would be there and I was told to come on up. When I got there, the sales rep acted like I took her by surprise. First, she couldn`t find the keys or the car. Second, the car wasn`t ready to be looked at or t... view moreest driven. The battery was dead. Third, she explained that they like to "prep" the car BEFORE showing it. That`s understandable. What ISN`T understandable is why she knew by 10am that day that I would be there by 5pm and NOTHING was done with the car to prep it. I would have been more than happy to go the following day if needed. Obviously I was less than thrilled when I got there that my conversation with the sales rep on the phone meant nothing to her at all. When I was told (after I got there) they like to prep the car, I said fine but why didn`t you call me? Her response was "I didn`t know that you were coming up". Baloney! We emailed, we spoke, we emailed again. I have little doubt that if I were buying a $30,000 Subaru I would have been treated better but whether I`m spending $6200 or $30,000 I expect to be treated with some respect and courtesy, neither of which I received from Feders... Thankfully I found a great local Subaru mechanic that often has fantastic Subaru`s for sale. I would give Feders Subaru ZERO stars if I could.
