Ed You Might Be Good But $75 for an Estimate, NOT!

I called about having an estimate done on my truck for a oil leak. I was told that there would be a $75 charge just to look at the vehicle. When I asked if this $75 would be applied toward the cost of the work if I had the work done at Ed`s. I was told NO. Well Ed might be the best place in town, but I went somewhere else just as reputableand was given this Shop Owner`s name before Ed`s. I called and was explained ho... view morew the fee for the estimate worked. If I got the work done at this shop, the $25 was credited to the final bill. If I chose to go to another shop, wel then the $25 was reasonable for the time spent. Ed, your $75 fee is UNREASONABLE. Maybe it`s time you changed your policy and give the customer a break! Bad news / reviews travels faster than good.

Great Service! Honest and Priced Right!

I had my car to 4 other places and they just sold parts, Bill from Ed`s Auto fixed my car, he found the broken wire and my car never stalled out again. One place even tried to sell me a transmission for $3500.00. That was Cottman and they stink!
