I was in Las Vegas this past w...

I was in Las Vegas this past weekend to buy my brother a good (cheap) used car. This place had many on their website. Good News: the personnel don`t misrepresent the condition of the car -- they just don`t know it...or so they say. Bad News: Couldn`t find one car under $3000 that didn`t appear to have mechanical issues. Finally took one car to an independent mechanic and after just 10 minutes he stopped t... view morehe inspection and said he had found over $2000 worth of needed repairs...serious repairs. He didn`t even charge us for the inspection because he felt bad the car was in such poor shape (yea! Goodyear!) It appears they get many of their cars at auction and after being at a dealership where they told me they send the cars that need major repairs to auction instead of keeping them themselves....well...I`d be very cautious getting a car under $5000 at any used car lot.
