Had a Check Engine light come ...

Had a Check Engine light come on Thursday morning (it was 1deg.F out) so my first call was to Ben at European Auto Tech. Told me to bring it in same day and he would check it out with his factory BMW diagnostic computer. Turned out to be a misfire on cylinders 1,4 and 7. Felt it was due to the extreme cold weather and potential condensation. Since I have 75k miles on the plugs, we ordered new plugs, which were in... view more the next day, and plan to replace them as preventative maintenance. Could be coil packs as well but Ben suggested starting with the simpleist, least expensive components first and see what happens. I appreciated his approach and common sense course of action, all with no pressure to throw money and parts at the problem. I recommend European Auto Tech with complete confidence......
