The service department is completely untrustworthy. I take the car in for an inspection and the mechanic feeds me this whole story about what`s wrong with my car including brakes that barely passed. Of course I take it to another shop and they say I have another year on the brakes so I don`t get anything done. To top it off, I stupidly take the car back to Toyota for a check engine light warning three months... view more later and the mechanic who looks over my car checks the brakes as being A-ok! Run to someone reputable.
