Dave Clark and his brother (the supposed mechanic) told me I needed my Transmission serviced at 45,000 miles, when I typically drive 3,000/4,000 miles a year now (they know this as my speedometer reads 47,000 miles, driven in 8 years) and if that is the case I do not ever need my Transmission serviced for my 2005 PT Cruiser Convertible GT Turbo engine. It states this in the manual. He also wanted to put an Additive ... view morein there, nope I am not going for additives in my transmission, just so I will be back in a couple years having them replace my whole transmission. I went there in June of last year to get my Freon charge in my air conditioner and in September all the Freon had leaked out and they thought I had put in more Freon since June and that I caused this to happen. That was their excuse, because I didn`t touch anything. I told them that they would have to repair what is broken and give me a free Freon charge. They said to come back next Spring because it was pointless to do this now in September as I would have to drive around a few days with the air conditioner on, to have them see where the leak is coming from. Then said they would have to charge me full price for the Freon charge again as well as for repairing what made it leak out. Coincidence, I don`t think so. And every time I went there before, I left there and one or two more things were broken and they were taking my every dime and my husband is disabled and I have Fibromyalgia and neither one of us work, so they also know we are on a tight budget, but apparently that is who these people peg to mess with. Sad state of affairs with these folks. This also isn`t the first time I have heard them doing this to people, my advice STAY AWAY FROM ANY CLARK AUTO BUSINESS!
