I recently purchased a car from Snyder`s Auto Center in Lewistown, MT. A plan was worked out to sell the car to me for $2,000 and was a 1995 Dodge Intrepid. When I purchased it, I was told of one problem-high idle- and that it shouldn`t be much of an issue and that it was a great car and ran great. Well I later learned that this idle was a huge problem, as well as many other mechanical issues that made the car unreli... view moreable and unsafe for me to drive. I put $1500 cash down on the car. After three times taking the car back for repairs, there was little improvement and only AFTER all of that was I informed that all car sales here were `As-Is`. I did not sign anything saying it was an `as-is` sale nor was it mentioned to me at purchase. They refuse to give me my money back or, as of yet, do any more repairs without wanting to charge me even more money. I am 21 years old and going back to college for nursing and have a 9 month old daughter and also have a job. Having a safe, reliable form of transportation is crucial for me. Snyder`s Auto Center has been nothing but rude and unhelpful towards me and if they continue to refuse to refund me my money or repair the car I will have no choice but to go to small claims court and take even more time and money out of my life. I will NEVER recommend this dealership or &amp;quot;mechanic&amp;quot; to ANYONE AT ALL. I am not the only person I know who has been worked over by these people. Avoid them at all costs.
