I bought a doge from this place, while they are most likely the cheapest, they are the worst dealer ship in service, first they only fill your tank with $20 in gas because they advised dodge did not pay for it anymore, but they forget and are to cheap to send your title in the mail like all other dealers. Nov 09 I took my 2004 Dakota to Bob Hoss Dodge service center to have the right side catalytic converter repaired under the emission warranty. The converter had a crack in the bottom wield allowing an exhaust leak and the check engine light to come on showing code P0430. A mechanic and service manager looked at the converter while my truck was up on a lift. The service manager then walked over and told me (the be... view morest I remember) It?ˆ™s been all worked on up there and he will not do the repair under warranty. I started to tell him what work had been do and why. He interrupted me, stated it?ˆ™s been all worked on and it not covered and started to walk away. I asked for the phone number for the District supervisor. He stated that would be corporate, ran off a 1 800 number and walked away. He spend around 30 seconds talking with me. I had to get the 800 phone number from the service tech that had done the paper work on my truck. I left Bob Hoss dodge. The work that the manager was referring to was done at a muffler shop when the 2-1 O2 sensor was changed. The only way to change the sensor was to drop the Y pipe, which is why I took it to a muffler shop. The shop in order to drop the y pipe, removed the old exhaust bolts and cut the tail pipe 18 inches downstream of the converter and downstream of where the two pipe come together to one pipe. Replaced the O2 sensor, put on new exhaust bolts and wield the pipe back together. The y pipe was not fully removed from the truck just loosen to move around and change the sensor. Nothing the shop did could have cracked the wield on the converter. I took my truck to Gladstone Dodge where they looked at the converter and said yes it was covered and they would do the repair if I wanted them to. So I had them do the repair. Charles
