Steve Bertelsman has been a professional, ASE Certified mechanic for 24 years. After graduating from Beck Area Vocational center in Red Bud, Illinois in 1983, Steve started working (and continued learning) the mechanical trade at Collinsville Auto Clinic. This small independent shop was owned by one of his instructors at Beck, and gave him the hands on, real world experience that is critical to a great mechanic. He went on to work at J&K Service Center in Swansea for 1 1/2 years and then at Duffy`s Automotive, where he stayed on for 20 years! After taking the summer of 2004 off to have fun and spend some time with family, Steve opened Bertco Automotive on Nov. 1, 2004. In October of 2005, Brian Werner joined Bertco Automotive as a technician. Brian has over 9 years of automotive repair experience. We take great pride in our business and work. Individual personal attention is something you will always receive here at Bertco Automotive. We care about the vehicles we work on and the person driving the vehicle we repair.
