Upon taking a Chevy Blazer to Tire Bargain for a safety inspection prior to purchasing a vehicle, mechanic Anthony Thomas #900014378, passed the safety inspection of the vehicle. My husband then purchased the vehicle believing that it was safe to drive. After having our mechanic check it, we were informed that the ball joints (all four) were bad as were the brakes. Anthony Thomas agreed to repair the ball joints and ... view morebrakes at no cost to us, however, then refused to return ALL of the parts citing legal reasons. He did give us the brake pads. Our mechanic confirmed that the ball joints were repaired, however, the cotter pins were not secured and the anti-lock brake sensor was not plugged in. Both could have resulted in further safety issues with this vehicle. Also, the Anthony Thomas refused to give us a receipt for the repairs stating that because there was no charge, there was no need for a receipt.
