Went to receive a oil Change, they told me I had a small oil leak, after a couple days I smelled something burning. check my oil, it was bone dry, took to the dealer and the had pitched the tip which made all the oil run out. never will go back!!!

Great customer service!
I have been to this particular Midas on at least 5 occasions and have always had a good experience. Their customer service was terrific and I appreciated the check-in call within a couple weeks of having my vehicle serviced. Whether for routine oil changes, wheel baring replacements, or battery checks, I feel that both the car and myself are respected and well looked-after. They back up their word by stayi... view moreng true to guarantees as well. Very straightforward. Thank you!

misdiagnosis
I took my car into Midas for a rattling noise under the hood. The mechanic told me the noise (which they could not reproduce) was from struts. They told me I needed front shocks, struts, strut mounts and also I had leaky rear shocks. This job was to be approx. $1200.00.(this included all sorts of misc shop fees) I took my car elsewhere (2nd opinions are worth it) and they told me that all I needed was a stabilizer bar... view more control link. The second place informed me that the stabilizer bar was broken at both ends and that any professional mechanic should have noticed it right away and that I was not in need of shocks or struts. I saved myself $1100.00 by going to qualified professional mechanics. Was Midas trying to reach there monthly sales quota by misleading the customers? And why didn`t they notice the broken stabilizer bar? I will never take my vehicles there again.

They butchered my car
Lost steering power assist. My own mechanic was not available. Brought to Midas. They said it was the pump. They replaced it. By the time I got home, all fluid had leaked out. Towed it back to Midas. They said the pump they put in must be faulty. They said they would put in a different one. Same thing happened. Towed it back. They said it must be the r and pinion. Still charged me for pump; insisted the pump and the ... view morer and pinion were both bad. Put new r in. Still leaking. I brought it to my mechanic. He said he couldn`t understand how they missed that there was a gaping hole in the hose, which he replaced. Said Midas had butchered the bolt on the front of the pump. He also said Midas had put the pump back on wrong and broken the O ring so it was still leaking from there as well. $800 to Midas for nothing. Two different mechanics said Midas isn`t fit to start a car, much less fix one.

Terrible Service, Bad Prices
They really hosed me on the price, kept my vehicle for three days and didn`t fix everything that was wrong. They couldn`t figure out why my ride control wasn`t working. They just said it was a very complicated system and the tech looked online, but they didn`t know if he found out why it wasn`t working. They didn`t keep my old rotors when I asked them too save them so I could make sure my truck really needed them, ... view moreand told me their must have been a scrap guy that came into their shop and took them 45 minutes before I got there. They told me they rotated my tires and flushed my brakes and after checking they clearly didn`t.I felt like I was lied to all around by the manager and had terrible service. Find someone else, you`ll be happy you did.
