Beware of buying used cars from Davis Auto Sales. I like the owner but he is being done in by his mechanics. Their mechanics do not perform the tests on used cars they claim to perform. On a vehichle I recently purchased from Davis I was told the brake pads were checked and were new. I found out they had only checked one wheel (as required by law) found pads on that wheel to be worn out, but did not bother to che... view moreck another wheel. Therefore the vehicle I bought had one new set of brake pads and the other set were worn down to the metal. They claimed to have checked the ball joints and said all were in spec. Only one ball joint was barely in spec. the rest were dangerously bad and so far for a $3500 vehichle I have spend $2000 repairing brakes, ball joints broken sway bars, axel leaks and will have to spend more on the drive train.
