Had transmission rebuilt. Next day after truck was picked up had fluid leaking. Took it back he kept it for a day and said it was brake fluid. I took it to another mechanic who fixed the transmission line and charged me 80.00 bucks. When i took the bill to his shop he told me he was not responsible for transmission line and would not give me the 80.00 i had to pay the second mechanic. Beware Never go there

Took my car to get transmission repaired he quickly worked on I paid him cash car was not repaired was worse then before I took it back to him he kept it for two more weeks still bad no way to get him on phone he will not answer calls after initial work has been paid for his warranty is useless wish I had never seen this place on line

Barrett`s strength is in their...

Barrett`s strength is in their automatic transmission service, not quite as much for their general engine repair service. They do good work, charge a reasonable rate. But be forewarned: they do NOT accept credit cards or checks. It`s strictly cash. If you don`t have cash readily available, you need to go elsewhere.
