Less than a year ago I purchased a Pioneer In-Dash DVD player from ABC Warehouse, and did not buy the extended warranty. The unit quit working about a week ago, and naturally i went back to ABC to have it serviced. I WAS BLOWN AWAY When they told me that because I had not purchased the extended warranty, there was nothing they could do! (more like - nothing they would do) They referred me to Vanden Berg Stereo. I exp... view moreected that I would have to pay to have the buttons on the faceplate repaired, however the salesman at Vanden Berg told me that every pioneer unit comes with a 1-year warranty! I gave them my reciept, and they fixed it free of charge.
