IMO - do not have your car ser...

IMO - do not have your car serviced here. I was instructed to lie on a BMW/Mini survey to protect the dealer when they could not find the actual issue on the first service visit and returned the car to me with a loud whining noise, the car next to me noticed it was so loud. On my second visit my car was returned with multiple stone chips down to bare metal and what appears to be two windshield chip improperly filled ... view morewith epoxy. I was told in a confrontational manner by Nicholas the dealers GM that the damage was not caused by them, he denied the damage and his offer as was a "courtesy" to touch up the chips, what? Nicholas could have made this problem right by offering a genuine ear and good customer service but instead chose to instigate a verbal confrontation and then instructed me to have my car serviced elsewhere. The next nearest dealer is 119 miles away. Consider this before purchasing what I believe is a great car, Bavarian BMW/Mini will treat you horribly after the sale! This dealer put 30 miles on my car to diagnose low oil, kept the car two days. I brought it in for, an oil change because the car was telling me it was due, they just added 2 quarts of oil - the manager sent this in an email "Your vehicle came to our store with 13,995 miles, it left here with 14,025 miles. " Yeah 30 miles to figure out it was two quarts low...nice work Motor City Mini, thanks for the waste of time and the stone chips too !
