Very honest & thorough
Taken my vehicle here for a quick repair and I am very satisfied & happy with the repair and service performed at Mastertech. They don`t BS you to get you through the door. I found the service to be prompt and the price to be fair, I did call around to a few other places and found Mastertech`s prices to be in the middle, I usually take my vehicle to the dealership but they had a wait and I was in a hurry. Mastert... view moreech was much cheaper than them and only took 2 days instead of 3 weeks as the service writer at the dealership said it could take until it just got LOOKED at. MUCH praise to Brian and they guys at Mastertech.

Unsatisfied Customer
I went to this car repair based on the reviews , I should have asked word of mouth referrel. This was one of the worst repairs centers I had to deal with the owner couldn`t stop praising his work and went your work was finished he had nothing to praise himself about. I had to bring back the car twice, I found him to be very over priced and extremely arrogrant when he work was only so so. He had to fix the same ... view moreproblem twice on one complaint because he did the cheapest way possible and charged the consumer the most, then he had to order the part still isn`t the part for this vehicle it is after market part and it is not doing the job. The oil filter was installed with the remaining oil filter seal still left in and caused me alot of leakage and he blammed it on another component and it was the oil filter which I made in reinstall I took to my neighborhood gas station and they check every thing and said this oil filter was the problem. I definetly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS REPAIR SHOP FOR SERVICE FOR YOUR VEHICLE PLEASE GET A REFERREL FROM PEOPLE YOU KNOW , I should have listened to my friends and went the distance instead of making it more conveient for myself. Very dissappointed and learned a good lesson customer.

Highly Recommended
I took my Chevy truck to have the transmission rebuilt after putting 140,000 miles on it. The first shop I took it to didn`t fix my truck, had repeated problems with it, blatantly lied to me and would not live up to their warranty. Master Tech was able to rectify my situation and I am very happy with the ending results.
The first shop quoted me $1300 so I went ahead and had them do it. When I went to pick the tru... view moreck up, the bill was $2300.00. I was sticker shocked! They told me that the reason it was so much more than originally quoted was because they found more stuff that needed to be replaced--a torque converter, a band, and the rebuild kit. Needless to say, it took me another week to come up with the difference and I was upset that they never called me to let me knwo the price would be so much more than it was.
I picked up my truck and within the first 2 weeks, I was already having problems with it. It was shifting hard and late and I checked the fluid myself and it was full. I called the shop and took it there on 3 occassions, they said that they could not duplicate the problem. I continued to drive the truck and 3 months later and 4,000 miles, the truck wouldn`t move. There was transmission fluid leaking pretty bad out of the bell housing area. I had it towed back to that shop because they did give me a 12,000 mile 12 month warranty. After having one of their mechanics look at it (he bent down underneath the truck) while it was in the parking lot, they told me that they could not fix it under warranty because the transmission was broke because of a selenoid that wasnt` working and the warranty they gave didnt` cover electrical parts. The mechanic also told me that the fluid from the bell housing wasn`t transmission fluid. He said it was power steering fluid! I was not happy with them. I told them I`d have my truck towed somewhere else and got on the phone looking for a different transmission shop and deal with them later.
I called Brian at Master Tech and he told me what he thought caused my transmission to fail. He could rebuild my transmission for a fair price and he`d have it towed on his dime and a rebuild kit was included in his price. He told me he`d thoroughly inspect & clean the components, go through the valve body and repair any circuits on top of replacing any parts that looked worn out and would more than likely fail sooner than later. The price he gave me was under $2000 and he had my truck on the road in 4 days. I`ve since put 22,000 mile son my truck since taking it to AMster Tech and have not had problems whatssoever, even with plowing with it this winter with all the snow we had.
I highly recommend Master tech to anyone who wants an honest person working on their car. Brian even showed me all the parts he replaced when I went to pick up my truck to show me what actually happened--I did nto have to ask to inspect them like I`ve had to do with other shops. Master Tech won`t low ball on price to get you in the door and then later give you a different, higher price after your car is tore down and you dont` really have options to look someplace else or dont` even give you that option at all. They are up front, give you no hassle and there is no run around.

A BUNCH OF STUFF
I took my 73 Olds Cutlass supreme to Brian at Mastertech and boy was that one of the best automotive decisions I ever made in my life. I needed a new drive shaft, engine/transmission install, headers dual exhaust electronic ignition system, the works and now I get nothing but praises when I open my hood. Let me not forget to mention that he installed 1 tranny that was busted took it back off and installed the other... view more one with no problem, and on top of that Brian gave me a hell of a deal on all the things that was done (parts and labor), this guy knows his stuff, he treated my car like it was his own. I have automotive teachers asking me where did I get my drive train work done at, it looks just that damn good. I would like to refer anyone and everyone to Mastertech Transmission, for a real mechanical experience. Thanks Brian for everything!!

4 speed auto in my Trans Am
I took my 1979 Pontiac Trans Am to Brian at Mastertech and couldn`t be happier with the results. He gave me a very fair quote and went out of his way to keep my project under budget. The rebuilt transmission he did for me performs excellent and my gas mileage is WAY better than with the old tired 3 speed. Brian is also a bit of a perfectionist. He fixed a few additional items on my car simply because they were bu... view moregging him and he didn`t charge me. My car drives so much better since its visit, Brian knows his stuff! -Scott B Royal Oak
