January 12, 2012 In October of 2011 my son bought a truck from Country Auto. Within two months of this purchase the nightmare began, first the head gasket, followed by no heat and the engine running terrible with RPM difficulties. One car payment had been made at this time, just one so far. My husband. had called County Auto and spoke to D--- at the time of the first difficulty. I?ˆ™m you may imagine how terribly e... view morexpensive a repair on a head gasket is. We were also well aware of the 1 month Lemon law and knew this did not apply but thoughtthis dealership would pay attention to the fact that it was nearly two months since P--- sold this vehicle to our son. D--- told us that your dealership would get back to us. I can?ˆ™t say I am shocked that we never heard a word. I along with a few family members bought cars at Country Auto, hense an investment of thousands of dollars. We?ˆ™ve looked at it as a neighborhood business and would rather support local business than large corporations. We expect more of a local business and thought that they would do the right thing, if not for morality and ethics than for the mere fact that that it is plain good business. You can imagine the little funds one might have after having to do these repairs and using total savings plus a loan to buy this vehicle. It?ˆ™s a small community; I would imagine reputation is pretty important. This family warns you to steer clear- expect more get way less.
