Taking Advantage

Extremely over priced. Advanced online repair quote suggested about $460 to replace both rear struts. Sullivan quoted me with about $800 for the same job. Plus they told me I needed more work done in the front that does need to be done. For example, they said both sway bar links were busted and the bushings were gone. I looked at it, all of the bushing are there and neither sway bay link is busted. They also s... view moreaid I needed a new inner/outer tie rod and work on lower ball joints. Now in MA if any of the items listed from the sway bar to the ball joints were bad we wouldn`t pass inspection. This car they looked at passed inspection. Very frustrating. Keep in mind I have been going to this particular Sullivan tire for the past 5 years. I like to have fix `em cars to learn how to fix cars. In those 5 years Sullivan tire was great. They were always willing to work with me and never hassled me. I`ve heard that they haven`t been really busy the past month so maybe that is why they hiked the price and pulled out imaginary work but why penalize the returning customers because their business isn`t booming?
