Fredericktowne Motors was really helpful when I took to the internet to find a used car. Through their website, I was able to see their entire inventory of cars. I highly recommend paying them a visit and checking out their website. Great customer service!

purchased a vehicle on May 5th...
purchased a vehicle on May 5th, 2012 from Fredericktowne Motors after multiple weeks of attempts with downpayments constantly changing i was finally successful. On May 6th it was taken to Criswell Honda to be looked over as far as issues. Brakes were too thin to pass maryland inspection, when notifying dealer they became defensive stating that`s not the case and to bring it in. Hearing back on Friday, May 11th come to find out the motor needed to be replace as well as the brake pads and rotors because a brake component locked up after a little over a week and 890 miles put on vehicle. On friday May 18th after my first contact since the motor was labeled a problem i was told that the motor that was delivered on Monday was the incorrect motor and they would have to reorder. Hearing the next contact on Friday May 25th i was told again they had pulled a motor from another truck and I would have my truck this week the mechanic was out for a day as he needed to do siding to his house I was due my truck the week of May 28th- June 1st. After not hearing anything I contacted the shop today Thursday May 31st to be told that again that motor would not work and would need to order the third motor. That would not fly i requested to nullify the contract and requested my trade in(minus the payoff) and my downpayment back. To no avail i was directed to the Owner Robert(Bob) Cox. When speaking with Mr. Cox who did not want to hear my concerns I was told that i could not void the contract as it is "out of their hands". My contract was based off a proper working automobile. Regardless if they are "correcting the problems at no cost to me" as Mr. Cox acted like he was doing me a service. I was never offered a replacement vehicle, unless something wasnt right for next week with the third motor attempt. This has been on-going for 3 weeks now while my girlfriend who is 3 months pregnant vehicle`s ac went out which now we are down to one car that we can`t lose.
