Robert Walters Starters and Alternators is a great local business in Redford. Their prices are about 60% of what you`ll pay in a national chain auto parts store. All components are rebuilt in-house and come with a warranty. The building isn`t much to look at, but who cares? The staff is super-friendly and knowledgeable. They once tested an a very pricey heavy duty alternator for me and told me it was good, a... view morefter a national chain told me it was faulty just to get my money. Honesty and good old-fashioned customer service are first rate. I wouldn`t think of buying a starter or alternator anywhere else. I highly recommend this store.
