Awesome service

I went there for a check engine light and an oil change and being a single mom I for the first time felt not taken advantage of. He was honest and sincere. I had brought my car to 3 other shops only to walk away frustrated and felt like I was being ripped off for being a woman. Chapman Auto figured out exactly what I needed and explained it to me so that I understood. And was less expensive then the other 3 mechanics... view more. Overpriced, Unreliable diagnosis

I brought my car into Chapman auto with a front end vibration only upon acceleration. The owner John told me it was a wheel bearing and tires. After I had the work done for 324.08 (for one wheel bearing!!!) which I later found out it was a rip off. The car still vibrated just as bad. Before getting new tires I got a 2nd opinion. Mechanic said it was the left axle arm since it only did it under acceleration and a whee... view morel bearing would howel all the time. I replaced the axle arm for 280$ and it drives like new. Chapman tried to tell me they drove it after the bearing and that it drove perfect and it obviously did not. I would not reccommend this auto repair shop to anyone! Overpriced, bad service and terrible diagnosis!
