I was returning turning from Grand Forks ND before New Years when my 1996 S-10 manual truck developed vibration and noise problems. I took it to a local repair shop whom I had visited before. After 6 weeks and many chaep parts bolted on with no success in fixing the problem, I found Discount Transmission on the net. During the process, Lynn called me twice to inspect the problems and the quality of the parts to be installed. He was also very instructive about the what and why things needed to be done. The place is a little out of the way on the edge of Eagan, but the guy is friendly, experienced, and thoroughly diagnosed the problem with my transmission without charging anything. Costs were quoted in advance, very reasonable, and the work was done very quickly and well. No problems since the work was done a couple of months ago.
