Very Positive Experience

I am writing this review to let all know that I had a very positive experience with this company recently (Feb 2010). I noticed the last review was posted over 2 years ago and does not accurately reflect my recent experience. My son was visiting New Orleans and had an accident and needed his car repaired quickly. He took it to Royal Collision and was treated very professionally by the staff. He asked if they coul... view mored get his car fixed quickly (suspension damage only) and they did all they could to get his car in and fixed so he could leave Louisiana and return home. It turned out they had to order some parts after they got into the repair with caused the car to not be ready but I understood and we were able to work around. This amounted to adding a couple of days on the repair. The car was repaired to my satisfaction and all my inquires (via long distance) was handled in a prompt and professional manner. I can truly say that the other reviews (two) do not reflect my experience and would recommend them to anyone needing this type of service. Special thanks to Bruce (assistant manager) and Belinda (office manger) for making this negative experience (son`s accident) end on a positive note.

shoddy work and poor customer service

I had to have my front bumper replaced. The insurance company said it was not a difficult repair. It took over two weeks to repair, but I at least had a rental car during that time. When I picked up my vehicle, the bumper looked fine. Once I stood in front of it several feet away however, I could see that it wasn`t even centered on the front of the car! When I looked more closely, there were areas where the pain... view moret had been rubbed away ,obviously from someone trying to jam the pieces into place. Now the car is back in the shop, I have no means of transportation, and every day that it`s supposed to be ready I call (I have to call them, they don`t call me) to find out it will be another day in the shop. Poor worksmanship and dishonest customer service. Maybe this is normal in NOLA but I would certainly not recommend this place.

Very Busy OEM Repair Facility

They had our CR-V for two months working on it. The problem seems to be trying to do quality work in this post-Katrina business reality. They have gotten most of their pre-Katrina employees back but after the storm, they have had supply issues as well as a much higher work load as other shops in the region are still closed. It is an inconvenience to have a vehicle in the shop for two months but I realize that I ha... view moreve to have different expectations in our Post-K recovery. The main thing is they did a good job with their repair work which was extensive from an accident.
