DO NOT USE THIS TOWING SERVICE

My car over-heated near the Convention center on S.Peter while pulling into a parking lot about mid-day saturday, My wife and I were heading to the French Quarter Fest, but decided to skip the fun and deal with car and call for a tow. We have ``road side assistance"" so we called the ins. company for help...and they called Mardi Gras towing... 45 minutes wait we were told for a tow... One hour later no tow truck..... view more. 15 minutes after that my ins. company calls us back to tell us that Mardi Gras towing cancelled....the reason, too much traffic. There was no traffic jam where we were. I think they did not want to deal with the road side claim... they suck
