an $800 A/C compressor!?!?!?

i bought a buick century because everyone in iowa has one, and i thought local mechanics would know how to fix them and parts would be cheap.. WRONG! Ultimate wanted to replace my A/C compressor for $800 dollars!!! really?? thats what a new engine costs!!!! so i called a junkyard, got a used one for $40. and had Anything Automotive install it for $70.. KCCI needs to investigate this place.
