0 STARS!!!!! Car runs great, a little over priced for a 2004, but runs good. I had my temporary plate stolen off of my car and was told that I needed my temp plate number to file a police report. I contacted Preferred Auto and was transferred between three people before a male got on the phone to tell me that he didn`t see that I was even issued a temporary plate. I find that retarded seeing that he did see that I came in to purchase the vehicle on 2/17/12 and could see that the deal closed, but couldn`t find where I was even issued a plate. You would think they would`ve at least tried to reissue me one since everyone gets a temporary plate at the time of purchase. They didn`t try to help me at all with this issue. They suck at customer service. Should`ve gone elsewhere to purchase a vehicle. Make sure you receive written documentation that you received a plate along with the plate number. SMH

On 1/14/12 my husband and I purchased a beautiful Chrysler Town & Country Minivan from the Illinois Lot via the Lima location. Frustration with the process started before we ever arrived via frustrating phone calls days up to our purchase. IF we ever do purchase another vehicle via Preferred we will most definitely avoid the Lima Office and hope to work with more honest people at other lots or simply take o... view moreur business elsewhere. We were told we could get the best price to offer (their internet rate) which was this VIN number with 20,000 miles at a one price. We get to the lot and find out the van has 25,000 miles and now shows a lower price by about $2000 but we were not entitled to that price, "it must be a technical glitch" with the website and we can?ˆ™t have THAT best internet price. Then we stressed from the test drive to signing the documents we had to have 2 keys. We were assured more than once by more than one person "not to worry, they would take care of it". Since the van came from another lot they would call on Monday and get the key for us and mail it to us or give us a call to come pick it up if we preferred. After 3-4 calls from us to the sales team, we find out 5 days later there is no second key but they can SELL us one for a reasonable price. Pure frustration took over, we informed them we wouldn`t give them any more of our money but we`d find and buy one ourselves. We were told they could program it for us for "a reasonable amount". We have spent years improving our credit, building our savings to be able to make a purchase like this. It is sad to have been treated so poorly.
