Our `03 Suburban had developed an intermittent ""low frequency grinding"" noise which, during a scheduled oil change at the dealer, was thought to be a cracked heat shield. When informed that the vehicle was ready, I inquired as to the cost and was told that there was ""NO CHARGE"". They politely asked for my future business which they will surely receive.
