Ogden lincoln Mercury Service Center and Financial

I went to buy a Kia sportage a few weeks ago and got railroaded into buying not only a 5 year extended warranty for 1995.00 but also a gap insurance for 695.00. I was not asked origionally but found my payments to be a bit high. When asked he told be what the extras were. I said ok. After much research I found that my state farm ins. could make me a better interest rate and I could get free gap. I also had remorse fo... view morer buying an extended warranty. I was told I could fax a letter and they could cancel. We faxed to the mgr. A few weeks later i found out I had to come in and sign. long story short the mgr was still not prepared after much conversation and referred me to a clerk who was not willing to help much and insisted I come in between 7-3 weekdays and me and my husband both worked. She said i could come in Sat bur she does not work on Sat. Still we came in and the mgr could not find the paperwork to cancel the policies. The car is great but next time because of the hassel we will not ok any extra deals, insurance or warranties. the customer service center and financial mgrs are horrible and not willing to expidite any refunds. The general manager finally excepted a fax for our forms and signature,,, but what a hassel. I am glad we are cancelling our service. Could you imagine what the service would be if we had to have our car worked on if this is what goes on to get refunds??

Do not use this financial service. Investigate and get a better deal elswhere for your warranty, gap insurance and interest rate for loans.
